26 years ago today, Gerald McNeil set the Cleveland Browns team record for the longest punt return with an 84-yard touchdown in a 24-21 victory over the Detroit Lions. During the ’86 season, McNeil was the only player in the NFL to return both a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns.
